I’ve been kind of busy and haven’t had a chance to post on here as much as I would like. I keep notes of things I think of to post, and then get busy and don’t get them posted…Sorry!

I can’t believe it’s already November, almost December! Thanksgiving was awesome! Ate a little too much, but who doesn’t? My goal for the end of the year is to maintain my weight…in other words…Not gain any! LOL

This time of year it’s so easy to gain a couple pounds because of the super yummy food that is easily accessible. I’m not avoiding any of it…lol Just not over indulging.

Do you have a favorite holiday food that you delight in this time of year? Mine…pecan pie…lol Yeah I will pick at the pie, nibble here nibble there, until the whole damn pie is gone. So I choose not to keep it in the house…instead I will get a piece and that is it. (We had Thanksgiving at my boyfriends Mom’s house, she made one, I got a piece and when we made our to-go plates, I didn’t take any of the pies…lol)

I’m also doing Zumba 3 times a week right now. Let me tell you, if you want a fun way to exercise, find a Zumba class. The first couple times will be challenging because you have to learn the moves, but after that, it’s so much fun and a great work out.

I’m not small by any means, and I absolutely love doing the Zumba classes. I sweat my butt off, and I’m about as uncoordinated as you can be, but it’s a blast.

I will work on posting more often again…I miss getting comments and emails from you guys!

Did you know the legendary beauty, screen goddess, Marilyn Monroe was considered plus size in her time. Instead of the Size S outfits you would expect a movie star to wear, she wore size 12. She lifted weights. Kept her figure by weight lifting. Definitely not a fragile waif you would expect a sex goddess to be.

I’m a chic….I LOVE to shop! One thing that I have noticed lately is that I love shopping for intimate apparel. I have bought so much stuff over the last few months that it’s just not even funny!

Ladies if you are wearing the good old cotton panties from Walmart…You need to stop!

It’s been a while since I have been able to get on here and post some things. Lots of things have changed over the last few months.

I am so loving my life now and couldn’t have made the changes I made at a better time. I am on a journey of finding myself and learning to love myself even more now than ever. I am living the single life after having went through a recent divorce.

I am living on my own now, and loving every second of it. It’s an incredibly liberating feeling when you get that Ah Ha! moment and take a leap of faith and trust your heart and your gut.

I have made some of the most amazing friends and they have been invaluable to me. I have learned that I like socializing where before I stayed to myself because I was ashamed of how I looked and how I felt about myself. I didn’t like being that person. With a little acceptance of my own, I feel like a million bucks.

I think we sometimes are so hard on ourselves that we forget that we don’t have to be perfect. I know I am a big girl and I am ok with it. Those that want to judge me, go ahead..it’s your loss not mine.

I am so loving life and realizing that I was keeping myself back because of how I felt about myself. Don’t do that! If you find yourself doing this, get up, get dressed, do your make up, your hair, etc slip into your favorite heels and head out…even if you are only going to the grocery store you will feel like a million bucks and trust me, you will turn some heads!

Sometimes we have to take a step back and really look at how we treat ourselves before we can ever hope for acceptance from others.

Keep your chin up Divas! We are worth it!

There is no longer any reason to be shy about shopping for plus size women lingerie. Not so long ago plus size women had only two choices when going to bed: either sleep in a rumpled nightgown or sleep in the buff. Now there is the choice of wearing lingerie that will make every plus size woman feel as sexy as she truly is.

It’s hard to remember sometimes that our situations aren’t as bad as they may seem at the time.

I may not be super model material. I may never be a size 5. I may be big my entire life. I may always have people that insult me instead of seeing the beauty that I know I have.

But…It could be worse. I think that sometimes we draw inspiration from people that have circumstances far beyond what our minds could imagine.

I have seen this video several times and have posted it to my Facebook account on several occasions. But I wanted to share it here to, just in case one of you haven’t seen it.
