Frustrated With My Pants!

Ok, so I am utterly irritated right now! I’m in one of my moods today. I am getting dressed for work. I started going through my pants. Bad idea on a day like today…but anyways, I’ve read a lot of different articles about buying the right pants for your figure..don’t do this, do this, buy these, don’t buy these…

I have to say, when you are a full figured shorter woman…buying pants just flat our SUCKS!

I prefer bootleg or flare, depending on the amount of flare..lol I also have some of Lane Bryants straight leg which I like too. I don’t think any of them actually look right on me…I am short but hate petite fit pants. ESPECIALLY if they are flare. It’s like they come in at the knee and then balloon back out and they make me look short and frumpy. I can’t stand looking short and frumpy…but if I go with average then they drag the ground most of the time and I tear the bottoms up.

Even my dress pants are like this. I’ve even had some altered and still hate how they look! I’ve come to the conclusion that when I shop, I’m not going to look at anything other than how my butt looks in them…if my butt looks good I am buying them…LOL!

I have some really great pants, jeans etc…but I don’t wear most of them cause I hate how they look.

One thing I will say…If I wear heels with my jeans, they look better than if I wear some other kind of shoe, but who the hell wants to wear heels all of the time…

Ok, just had to get that off my chest…lol

Tell me…when you buy your pants/jeans what do you look for? Are there certain styles you like better?

United States- Because 50% of teenage girls in the United States are either already plus sized, or on the verge of becoming plus sized, Plus Teen USA acknowledged the need for a pageant and self-esteem building conference exclusively for plus size teens; its mission- to embrace, celebrate, empower, and transform plus teens across America.

The project works to help beautiful young ladies not get caught up in the lie that they are not worthy of the acceptance, recognition, celebration, and inspiration in which their thinner counterparts enjoy, but that they, too, deserve self-love, life fulfillment, and a pageant experience to express their own unique beauty.

The Plus Teen USA pageant, which promotes healthy living, gives young ladies an opportunity to collaborate with like minded youth, create lasting friendships, and to have a place in the beauty and fashion industry. The contestant crowned Plus Teen USA will be selected among young ladies ages 13 – 19, who wear a size 12 and above.

Plus Teen USA 2009, America’s first pageant and conference exclusively for plus size teens, was held during the weekend of October 23-25 in the DFW Metroplex, and was attended by the Style Network’s “RUBY”, who mentored the contestants and encouraged them to live life now in the skin they’re in. Sharon Quinn, also known as “The Original Runway Diva” from all three seasons of Oxygen’s MoNique’s Fat Chance, was the featured speaker and modeling trainer. Lynae Tucker from Grand Rapids, South Dakota took the crown.

Responding to the growing need for plus teens to recognize their inner beauty while becoming confident from the inside, out, Jacqueline Lawrence, founder and CEO, launched four Regional Pageants, which will be held during the month of July, 2010 in the cities of Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, and New York, along with the National Pageant and Conference, which will again be held in the DFW Metroplex in October.

Plus teens across America will walk away with a renewed sense of self esteem, self awareness, self image, self acceptance… SELF. Plus Teen Regional titleholders will earn their region’s crown, and one plus size beauty will walk away with the title of Plus Teen USA 2010, a beautiful crown, a minimum $500.00 scholarship, the opportunity to represent plus teens all over the nation, and numerous other fantastic prizes.

Plus size teens interested in participating in a life transforming experience are encouraged to register online today to become contestants at www.plusteenusa.com.
