Well we decided to take a long weekend and take our girls out for some family time over their spring break. We went up to Kentucky to the Mid-American Truck Show which was a lot of fun! We took tons of pictures; I will post a few to the blog soon.

Friday and Saturday we spent at the truck show, then Saturday afternoon we decided to go Go-Cart racing. I really didn’t want to go because one time that I went I couldn’t get the seat belt buckled which was so embarrassing. But we went anyways. We had a blast.

Sunday we went to some caves, go-cart riding again, and horseback riding. This was really hard mentally for me. The entire time we were waiting for the guide all I could think was they were going to tell me I couldn’t ride because I was too big… (more…)

I found another great website. I haven’t had the chance to order from them yet to see if their sizes are true to size. (meaning when you order your size it actually fits like it is supposed too versus being to small or to big)

I was thinking last night, yes I do have my times when I actually let my brain do this….

I was thinking about what I consider beautiful. How do I define beauty.

One thing that I have always wanted to do was be a photographer. I find beauty in nature. I love when the trees start turning from their gorgeous greens to their vibrant fire reds and oranges. I can remember flying into Ohio one time and looking out at the trees as we were fixing to land. The trees looked like they were on fire, it was gorgeous!

Or the water blue skies when there are no clouds to be seen. The purplish haze as the sun sets in the evening.

The biggest problem is…I can’t take a picture to save my life…trust me on this! I have a friend..I am sure if he has been keeping up with my blog he knows who he is….that after I know 10 tries of me cutting his head off, he quit asking me to take his picture while we were in Canada…LOL

Well I have to say that I am super excited! For the last couple years I have been driving about an hour or so to go shopping for my clothes. Well when I have the extra spending money that is.

My favorite store is Lane Bryant. They have fabulous clothes…that FIT! The closest one was an hour away though.

We recently, and still in progress, had a new 725,000 square foot strip mall built in our town. Lots of new stores…none of which carry plus-size clothing…Well the other day I was going to lunch with a girlfriend and as I was sitting at the red light, what did I see?
