Odd Compliments
I have found that since I started this blog I feel a bit better about myself. This is very theraputic for me. Don’t get me wrong, I still have my ‘fat days’ where I would really like to crawl back in bed and not face the world. But not as many as usual…
So on to the fun part…my chance to rant and rave a bit. 
I have a fabulous job. Totally love what I do and on occasion, get a chance to travel to seminars which are a thrill to be at. I get to meet many of our clients, rub elbows with my boss and a couple co-workers that I rarely see. (We are all virtual)
One of my co-workers is very beautiful, and thin.. and I get a kick out of watching guys hit on her. But the funniest thing is that these men come up with the craziest lines I have ever heard!
It’s also quite interesting how one compliment to her was taken as a sort of insult to me. I say this is interesting because on a ‘normal’ day it probably wouldn’t have bothered me. It gave me a chance to see how my own self esteem affects me in the craziest ways. Here this beautiful woman is getting a compliment from a guy and the only thing I can think is if I can get a way with smacking him in the back of the head..lol
