Totally Irritated
Ok so I was doing a bit of Christmas shopping today when I decided to grab me a pack of cami’s from the underwear section. (They sell them in packs like panties in case you haven’t seen them) Anyways…I won’t say which store it was…just note it is a very well known one..
So I noticed that they have separated the Plus Size underwear/panties from the rest..which is fine. Don’t get me wrong…I would much rather buy my clothes without having to sift through the hords of ’skinny sizes’ that all stores seem to carry.
What really just irritated the piss out of me is the fact that they stick us in the back of the department, on one little row just for ‘our sizes’ and then what the hell do I find on the racks…size Smalls and Mediums! Any other day, this wouldn’t have bothered me…but you put us on our own little isle…’our size’ doesn’t belong with the “other” sizes, is bad enough..But then you go and put more of the smaller sizes right there with it…What is the freakin point!
All of the plus sized items were jammed up on the racks, so it wasn’t like there wasn’t enough to take up the few other ones that were there…But why move the plus sized items, when you are going to load them up with the ‘regular’ sized ones? It doesn’t make any sense! If this was the case, why not leave them on the same damn isle with the rest of the underwear!?
It’s things like this that irritate the crap out of me! This particular store is also VERY bad about putting the clearance rack for the ‘regular’ size clothing right smack in the center of the Plus Size department…HELLOOOO!
It’s stores like these that I quit shopping at completely…Or the ones that claim to have a ‘Plus Size’ department and when you go in their ‘department’ contains a couple T-shirts with gaudy flowers or stripes running the wrong way and pants that have elastic wastes…Get real!
Ok so I feel a bit better having gotten that our of my system..
You know…If I had the money…I would open me a Plus Size Superstore…It would have Plus Sized manequins, wouldn’t sell anything under a 14, and would have everything from sexy lingerie to formal wear!

Ok, I have to come back to this one again…I am so totally irritated with these shopping centers and clothing stores.
I think that in order to declare that you have a “Plus Size” department, you need to offer more than 1 style of jeans and 2 styles of shirts!
I was out shopping the other day, and I was at one of the larger, well known department stores, I had decided I was going to buy me a couple new shirts and maybe a pair of jeans…just a treat for myself.
Well I get in there, and what “USED” to be the ‘Plus-Size’ section, is now down to 1 style of pants, and 2 tops, one long sleeve and one short. The rest of the department had been taken over by the ‘Misses’ section!
Hello!!! Is ANYONE listening?? You can’t sell PLUS-SIZE clothing…..IF YOU DON’T CARRY IT! Stop saying the items don’t sell, and put some things in there that us beautifully big women actually WANT to wear and your department would flourish!
I have now gotten to the point that I don’t even want to go shopping at any of the stores around me. I would rather drive the hour it takes to go to places like Lane Bryant! I would rather spend $60 on jeans, and drive that hour, then spend a penny of my money in these other stores!
